Yeah, the Pyramids are a fair analogy to confederate Generals statues. Right.

First off, like another poster mentioned, the Pyramids were most likely built by a religious group in service to their god king. The archeological evidence supports this theory.

Second, the Pyramids have been pretty demolished, defaced, and desecrated over the millennia.

Third, we're talking about an ancient culture who has not had the benefit of time to know better than to build monuments to god kings.

It's fucking embarrassing that this is even a subject for debate in 2020 America. These "Generals" were slavery supporting traitors whose names should have been shunned or forgotten. Instead, monuments were built to glorify them and military bases were named after them. People rip on Mattis for speaking out against a dog whistling racist like Trump, but support racist Generals who literally tried to destroy the Unoted States.
