So...what happened to the cock thread? I realize that this might not be the right place to ask, but I know some of you men have posted there...so I was just curious as to what happened to it?

The entire thread was deliberately removed for fear that all those naked cocks might offend the religious right and get Literotica shut down by government fiat. Lit has to walk a tightrope between being a sex-oriented web site, and keeping the government at bay--a government which, sadly, feels themselves responsible only to those with the loudest voices and biggest checkbooks, such as Organized Religion. Maybe those tiny-dicked religious folks fear that guy on the now-vanished cock thread, whose cock touches his chin while he's standing up? (that even scares ME a little!)

Apparently the Lit rules that have been in force for 2 years--in response to religious right and government pressures--say you're not supposed to show cocks, pussies, or sexual acts between consenting adults here on this site, because the site is hosted within the USA....the Land of the Free....on a site where every page has a banner loudly and hypocritically proclaiming "Free Speech"....apparently, from what the web hosts and moderators have said, it would be different if the site was hosted in another country that was NOT founded on principles like Freedom of Speech and freedom of religion (a freedom that's supposed to include freedom FROM religion) and separation of church and state! But in the USA....no cocks, no pussies, no depictions of sex or "simulated sex" (whatever the hell that means!), nothing that religious fanatics can use as an excuse to shut down Lit for good. Hallelujah and praise Jesus!

But so far we're still allowed to show bare chests, breasts, and butts here, and to TALK about sex, as long as it's about sex between consenting adults over 18 who are not related to each other, and there is no inter-species sex involved. And as long as you don't illustrate those discussions with depictions of cocks, pussies, or consensual sexual acts.
