I bet he switches the dictionary with the cat he got drunk and fucked. You got nothing to worry about Bob.

I say poison the stagnant water surrounding the Thames, dry up the mud puddles...and smash every garbage can in the vicinity as well.

It may not do much for the US/Iraq problem, but it would make p_p look for a real home.

What's wrong? That they are a bigger threat than Iraq? Or the fact they have the bomb?

The comparison to the threat with Iraq is wrong, but Israel does indeed have nuclear capabilities. They've had nukes for quite some time. The French can be thanked for that one.

Do they actually have thermo-nuclear devices, or just atomic bombs? Big difference.

Consider this.....

We'd better defuse situations before they start, or the "little guy" with the big guns will start shooting everyone that teased him. Hamas is still a greater threat through terrorism, you don't see Israelis doing stupid public place suicide bombings. Those that support Hamas in the West don't understand, the former SS Nazi collaborators want all Jews dead, not like in a military conflict. (soldier against soldier) See attachment.

Israeli national security strategy is founded on the premise that Israel cannot afford to lose a single war. Because the best way to avoid losing a war is to not fight it in the first place, Israeli strategy begins with the maintenance of a credible deterrent posture, which includes the willingness to carry out preemptive strikes. Should deterrence fail, Israel would seek to prevent escalation, and determine the outcome of war quickly and decisively. Since it lacks strategic depth, Israel must prevent the enemy from entering its territory, and must try to quickly transfer the battle to enemy territory.

Israel applies its nuclear weapons to all levels of this formula. The total Israeli nuclear stockpile consists of several hundred weapons of various types, including boosted fission and enhanced radiation weapons ("neutron bombs"), as well as nuclear artillery shells. Strategically, Israel uses its long-range missiles and nuclear-capable aircraft (and, some say, submarines with nuclear-armed cruise missiles) to deter both conventional and unconventional attacks, or to launch "the Samson Option", an all-out attack against an adversary should defenses fail and population centers be threatened. In addition, despite Israel's insistence that it "will not be the first to introduce nuclear weapons into the Middle East," these systems represent an effective preemptive strike force. At the same time, Israel deploys tactical systems designed to rapidly reduce an invading force. Following the 1973 war, Israel fielded at least three batteries of atomic-capable self-propelled 175mm cannons equipped with a total of no less than 108 warheads, and placed atomic land mines in the Golan Heights during the early 1980s.

Nuclear weapons need not be detonated to be used as weapons. Early in the 1973 war, Israel went on a nuclear alert, partly in the knowledge that it would be detected by the United States and the Soviet Union. The Soviets, Israel assumed, would restrain their Arab allies while the Americans would speed up resupply efforts. While the USSR did inform Egypt that Israel had armed three nuclear weapons, the extent to which Israel's nuclear alert affected the timing of Washington's subsequent decision to rearm Israel is not clear.

Israel does not have an overt nuclear doctrine beyond its insistence that it will not introduce nuclear weapons into the region. Instead, it follows a policy of what Avner Cohen calls "nuclear opacity" - visibly possessing nuclear weapons while denying their existence. This has allowed Israel to enjoy the benefits of being a nuclear weapons state in terms of deterrence without having to suffer the international repercussions of acknowledging their arsenal. Israel also has a strong commitment to preventing its potential adversaries in the region from becoming declared nuclear weapon states, as evidenced by Israel's 1981 raid on Iraq's Osirak nuclear installation.

Given the very long range of the Jericho-2 missile, some analysts have speculated that this system was developed to deter Soviet intervention in the region. The USSR has always been one of the primary targets of Israel's nuclear force, as Israeli assumptions hold that no Arab nation would attack Israel without Soviet support. The purchase of fifty F-4 fighters from the US in 1968 provided Israel with a platform capable of delivering a nuclear payload as far as Moscow, and it has actively pursued imagery and other information necessary for targeting weapons against the USSR. In 1979, the US agreed to provide Israel with access to high-resolution images of its neighbors taken by the KH-11 satellite. Israel was able to use this agreement to view targets of interest in western Russia (as well as to obtain targeting information for the attack on the Osirak reactor). Israel received more such data during the mid-1980s through the espionage activities of Jonathan Pollard.

Although commonly viewed as the ultimate guarantor of its security, the nuclear option has not led Israel to be complacent about national security. On the contrary, it has impelled Israel to seek unquestioned superiority in conventional capability over the Arab armies to forestall use of nuclear weapons as a last resort - as early as 1962-63, prime minister David Ben-Gurion eschewed restructuring the IDF to base it on nuclear weapons. Instead, IDF doctrine and tactics stress quality of weapons versus quantity; integration of the combined firepower of the three branches of the armed forces; effective battlefield command, communications, and real-time intelligence; use of precision-guided munitions and stand-off firepower; and high mobility.

As of 2000, Israel had not acceded to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (1968). It was, however, a party to the Treaty Banning Nuclear Weapons Tests in the Atmosphere, in Outer Space, and Under Water (1963).

As the policy of the Zionists since 1912 has been to have every Palestinian dead or banished to other lands...

Now if they had the Bomb then the Beast of Beirut wouldn't be so trigger happy in his treatment of them.

But then again because of America's blind and absolutely stupid backing of Israel, right or wrong, she would probably volunteer to help solve the "Palestinian Question" in the interest of world peace. And under Bush's America we all jnow what that would mean...

Can I destroy your homeland next, please?
My half Arab, Half Native American friend would answer this:

You already did, twice.

If a people who got kicked out 2000 years ago have a valid claim on their homeland, then the Americans better watch out, cause the Sioux are coming to town...

And while they're at it, we'll make a homeland for Celts and kick all the Brits with any Roman or otherwise continental blood out. Then kick the Japanese out and give it back to the Ainu...

If it's a religious issue, we could kick all the Christians out of Europe and give it back to the Neo-Pagans... but only if they're not white (since the Isrealis are rarely Hebrew... the 'native' Jews tend to get tossed into the camps along with the native Christians, Muslims, and others and labeled Palestinian, or at best treated as second class Isrealis) We'll put the white Neo-Pagans in special 'territories'.

Isreal could have solved the issue in 67 if they'd annexed the territories at the end of the war and made everyone a citizen. But then that would give them an Arab majority... They want to dominate these people and control their lands, but they fear giving them a legitimate political voice.

Thus the people turn to the only means left: resistance.

Modern USA might abhor the Palistinians, but George Washington led a group of them across a river a few hundred years back under a different name...

The current situation of occupation is actually illegal under international law.

You either give it back, or annex it an assimilate your new citizens.

The UN sanctioned the state of Israel..

Not just the USA, which does not change who are the real "beasts" in that region.

What united al-Husseini and the Third Reich was a common hatred of the Jewish people. The Nazis had taken al-Husseini under their protection following the wartime invasion of Iraq. He was to spend most of the war living in a luxurious suite at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. Hitler had enjoyed quite a following among the nationalist youth of Egypt during the war, after Nassiri Nasser, the brother of the future president of Egypt, had published an Arab edition of Mein Kampf in 1939, describing its author as the "strongest man of Europe". Not surprisingly, Egypt became like Argentina after the war - a safe haven for SS war criminals who fled there after the war. Many were keen to help President Nasser in his attempts to destroy the State of Israel. There is evidence that the shadowy ODESSA network helped many of them to Egypt. Apart from Syria - who still host the wanted SS war criminal Alois Brunner, it was in Egypt that the Post-war Arab links to the ODESSA network were strongest.

Many of the victims of the Holocaust/Porajmos were murdered in the Second World War's third largest death camp - Jasenovac, where over 200,000 people - mainly Orthodox Serbs met their deaths. Some 240,000 were "rebaptized" into the Catholic faith by fundamentalist Clerics in "the Catholic Kingdom of Croatia" as part of the policy to "kill a third, deport a third, convert a third" of Yugoslavia's Serbs, Jews and Roma in wartime Bosnia and Croatia (The Yugoslav Auschwitz and the Vatican, Vladimar Dedijer, Anriman-Verlag, Freiburg, Germany, 1988).

The most senior Muslim cleric to be involved in the Holocaust/Porajmos was Hajj Amin al-Husseini (arafat's uncle), who according to the Encyclopedia of the Holocaust (Edition 1990, Volume 2, Pages 706 and 707), made a substantial contribution to the Axis war effort by organizing "in record time" recruitment to Muslim SS units in Croatia that would be involved in some of the worse atrocities of the Second World War.

Altogether, it is estimated that some 20,000 Muslims fought in the Hanjar (Sword) SS Division, which fought against Yugoslav partisans led by General Tito, and carried out police and security details in fascist Hungary. The Nazi's recruited two SS divisions from Yugoslavia's Muslim population: the infamous Bosnian 13th Waffen Hanjar (or Handschar) SS division, and the Albanian Skanderbeg 21st Waffen SS division. SS conscription in Yugoslavia during the war produced 42,000 Waffen SS and police troops

I thought they stole some material for us and then collaberated with South Africa on nuclear tests in the ocean.

Yes, they do have multistage thermonuclear devices.

We should just stop supplying Israel with anything.

Yes, we have always been quick to build ties with countries using the engagement policy to influence the countries leaders but are often unwilling to use the leverage we have agianst those same countries.

We did the same thing with Iraq in the 80's and were actually still supplying them with various types of equipment right up to just a few days before the start of the gulf war.
