PS I fully acknowledge that I have an accent, but certainly relative to Boston I don't, or compared to a lot of the US. Its weird actually, and I can't account for it.
I guess my question really is, given all of the different American accents, what makes an American accent? I don't hear the common denominator, but there must be one.
