Let's Get Together

Hello Everyone. I was hoping to start a thread where people could get together and co-write stories. I have the problem that if I don't have someone to give me suggestions, opinions, and critisizm, my story fizzles, and then I never end up finishing it. Can anyone relate? Could anyone help?

i wish i could offer to help but my plate is a bit full of the moment... however, i totally understand and sometimes, collaboration is the best thing ever. i would encourage you to find some help over on the Story Ideas thread. Sir_Hugs is awesome and there are others there that are eager to help.

I Have Tried

I have tried to do a sexual role play and it didn't work that well. When I used to come to Lit years ago it wasn't this hard to connect. I dunno if it me forgetting everything or the site changing, but this seemed alot easier before.

The few authors that I know of on the boards that have collaborated on stories generally knew each other socially first. That may well be why you haven't gotten any responses. While the entire concept of story writing is beyond me, I would assume that it would be difficult enough to co-write with someone you already know. I imagine it would be even more so if you aren't already familiar with the other author and their personality and writing style.

My suggestion would be to spend some time and generally get to know people first. You may have more luck that way.

Of course, I could also be horribly wrong. I dunno. I just read.
