I am well aware what the qoute was referring to. The hawker hurricanes and the spitfires did the job. but the germans were atacking to destroy the the british people, we are going in to hold saddam to a treaty he signed. and besides if his people get killed what does he care. Now he doen't have to kill his own people, just put them in front of his illegal weapons plants. make no mistake this is not a war against the iraqi people, this is a war against the dictator and his regime which seeks to destabilize an already vloitile and important region.

People always seem to forget that France gave the Yankees the template for the revolution, constitution and codified legal system, supplied a navy to fend off the Brits, then planted a big statue of a cow with a flame in one hand and the civil code in the other in New York harbour as a reminder after it was all over.
