Lestat is not dead

Lestat becomes the pope, then and angel in her new book.

In the old Jewish religion that would not save him. Killing another person is not a redeemable sin. There is a specific provision for taking a person's "life blood" in the bible.

Lestat is unredeemable.

Oh wait, he is undead...

Anne Rice decided to squeeze the dead rat a bit more.

Not knowing where you want to take this ... I can say that I absolutely HATE vampires that have a morality about them and so drink rats or steal from blood banks. What the FUCK kind of a vampire is that? A vampire has emotions and regret when dead? So sexy

Similarly ... the serial killer show called "DEXTER". A great first season, but WTF happened in the second? Soap opera.

Hmm, maybe he goes to hell first as a dark angel, then he time travels back and rewrites the bible leading to a miniseries in 2010.

 Noooo! Nooooo! Make it stop!

This is gonna be like Tupac, right? Even after Rice dies we'll be getting more Lestat books....

Vampires who follow their bloodlust and their delight in seducing, dehumanizing, and transforming humans into purer strains of animals=sexy to me.

Never cared much for Ms. Rice's vampires. Too much like Greek Gods, too beautiful and distant from humanity to be interesting.

Yeah, but did he come back from the dead as the Pope?

Maharat

He didn't have to. People still think he is alive and residing at 221b Baker Street.

Sherlock Holmes is far less fallible than any mortal Pope, even if his brains aren't as good as his brother's.
