All the red meat goes on sale for us non-religious carnivores while everyone else survives on fish. Whoever said lent didn't have it's advantages? I picked up thick, juicy, delicious steaks last night on sale...mmmmmm!!!

Luckily for us, they relented on that rule... I think it's just Friday's now.

I know some catholic families in our area who still stick to the old rules..no red meat during lent. Sucks to be them!

And how would you like yours done? Grilled steaks, corn on the cob and a few cold beers...that's what I'm doing this weekend!

I was going to observe Lenten rules when I went out with the family last night, but we went to a place that sold an 18 oz. hamburger for $6.75, and I couldn't pass it up.

It was delicious.
