It is the same far left crazies that populate the blog spaces; those who demand gay marriage, socialized medicine, free college education, government to nationalize the energy industry and all other sorts of left wing agendas.

I have not had access to television news for the past few months, so I can't speak as to what the protesters did at the Democrats Convention, but I don't recall headline news mentioned it. I did hear just today that nearly three hundred were arrested in various acts of vandalism last Monday when the convention opened.

I am a little ahead of the curve on this one, it may be just a tempest in a teapot or they might cause a major distraction at the closing ceremonies of the Convention.

What the crazies hope to gain, of course, is a willing left wing media to expose their protests and perhaps some charges of police brutality as the lawbreakers are apprehended.

I usually bat about .500 on these predictive efforts, to continue my baseball analogy in the other thread...we shall see...

Does this REALLY need a whole thread of its own?

Go play on one of the other myriad politics threads. They shouldn't be too hard to find.

Damn them!

Those Bastards!

They probably even want an estate tax. so we don't end up with a neo fuedalistic aristocracy.

The original definition of fascism was, "A system of government advocating the merging of corporate and government interests."

Is it possible you might be a fascist?

Is this today's Fox News talking point? I suspect yesterday's was 'the evil attacks of the left wing press'. What will tomorrow's Fox News talking point be? 'The liberal press instigates riots by liberals disguised as anarchists who are actually Islamist terrorists.'

FYI, the supposedly liberal left wing press completely ignored a story about 3 reporters from Democracy Now! being arrested for covering a skirmish between police and anarchists. The reporters were stripped of their press credentials and jailed for several hours, which, I suppose, is better than in China, where they would still be in jail, but the fact that reporters can be arrested and held by our government is disturbing to me.

Is it disturbing to you, Ami? Is it as disturbing as when the authorities took away the kids from the Texas compound a few months back? Just curious as to how your view changes, depending on whether it's liberals or religious conservatives who are being denied their rights by our government.

Sigh. A mouthpiece for the anarchists was on here spinning a tale about police brutality, and you might imagine, the usual fools bought it with glee. We have rights, you know, to smash windows, slash tires, batter old people, and toss urine on Cub Scouts.

Thank you, JBJ. The keyword in your post was anarchist, which is not the same as liberal. Anarchists show up at all the big conventions and raise hell. For Ami to assume the anarchist rioters were all liberals is just one more sleazy tactic of the right to dehumanize the opposition.

In the incident you speak of, the so-called anarchist was a Buddhist. Buddhists are nonviolent, so if the info was accurate, you're barking up the wrong tree, my friend.
