The moment you give your heart up, you lose your footing. Being in love can make you feel so good and at the same time, make you feel so bad. The level of doubt in yourself is equal to the level of feeling you're willing to give up.

Strange thing this love...make your heart swell so much it will make you cry...then confuse you as to whether you are happy or sad.

Being elusive was a lot easier.

The only way to get your heart true desire is to risk your very heart...no exceptions to this rule...

Reading my mind again, R?

Being in love can be scary. You've handed this person part of your soul and he has the power to make it thrive, or to suck the life out of it. My biggest fear is that the latter will happen and I will be left in pieces.

But, the benefits of love still outweigh the risks.

Being elusive is easier. Being in love is more fulfilling.

I know exactly what you mean. I think I'm going to lock my heart in a metal box and swallow the key. :(

and deny the world the benefit of that gift...

for shame.

no, I don't want to leave my heart at the door. It hurts to much to leave it alone, outside in the cold. Maybe when I was younger and full of myself, but not now.

Now I know that you have broken some hearts...

Not that I know of, seriously.
If I did, it was not intentional.
In any case, I empathize with your thoughts and feelings.

I know exactly what you mean Rambrat! Sometimes the feeling you have is just so great...you feel like you will burst...so you either cry...or sing...or shout...you just wanna tell the world how you feel. For some who have loved, then lost...the fall after the high is what hurts the most....after you have proclaimed to the world what a wonderful person you have found...then "it" happens...you feel like a fool. Your ego is crushed, and you just can't stop crying......

Be glad and enjoy what you have! :)

I'm too worried about everything I will miss if I keep my heart locked up.

yeah...I agree. Still, it's like learning to walk again.

A heart rendered by love....

Grows stronger than a heart that never had love.
I take the risk, and if I am hurt, I understand that this is the dance we call life. I checked my heart a couple of times in the past, and regretted not taking the chance, and having half a relationship with the one I was with. If someone does not accept my love, then it's their choice, their loss, and they'll never have the contentment that comes with me being in their life for even a while.

Love stinks! :D
