Jack nervously waited. At 21, he was still in college. He was just out of a long term relationship with his high school sweetheart, and he worried that he had absolutely no experience except with what he'd had with her.

Here he was at 6'1" and 200 lbs., thick dark hair, and blue eyes, and he was very fit and athletic. He should've had every reason to be confidant, but he wasn't. It seemed as though his friends all had more experience than him, and he wasn't sure what he'd do.

Luckily, Jack's uncle sensed Jack's insecurity and had set Jack up to talk to Amanda, a friend of his to help make Jack more at ease and confident. Jack waited anxiously now to see what Amanda would do to help.

Amanda, smiled, thinking of what she'd been asked to do. Jack was such a stud -- good looking, smart, committed -- that it was hard to believe he was in a romance rut. But thinking back, yes, it was true that he'd been with that same girl as far back as she could remember. Amanda was pretty sure, though, that she could have him back on his feet in no time.

She brushed her long hair back as she got out of he car. Her boyfriend had moved away a month before, and they'd just decided it wasn't worth the trouble to keep things going. So Amanda was at loose ends too. Seeing Jack was just what she needed.

Amanda sighed as she approached the door. She'd known Jack a long time, but they'd grown apart during her wild years. Now she admired him for sticking with his sweetheart through all of that. She wondered if he still thought of her as that wild, older girl he once knew. Amanda had settled down a lot since then, and hoped it would help Jack to see that.

Amanda knocked on Jack's door and waited for him to come.
