Trust me- if the Dems:

A) Find someone more interesting than stoneface John Kerry or Mr. Excitement, Joe Leiberman, and

B) Dump that idiot Daschle as minority leader, and

C) Stop voting for war and then turning around and saying they're against it, and

D) Get a platform other than "Bush is Stupid", and

E) Get Bill clinton to shut the fuck up, then

They might have a chance in two years.

Joe Leiberman may not be exciting, but he has something 99.9% of Washington is lacking and that is integrity. His possible vice presidency was the main reason I voted for Gore. In fact I thing BOTH vice presidential candidates were better options than their running mates.

Joe Lieberman may lack Clinton's charm and George W's good ol' boy act, but he is genuine and he cares about his job and this country.

Oh, and I think the last election was proof that this countries voters put WAY too much importance on social skills when voting for a person to run this country.

I'd drop the "Bush is stupid" thing all together. He's a terrible public speaker, but he's not stupid. It might be your opinion that he would flunk out of a party school, but the fact is that he graduated both Harvard and Yale. I don't care what your last name is, that and stupid don't go in the same sentence.


The whole "we can beat this guy simply because he's dumb and we're not" I think has been shown to be a losing tactic. If the dems keep doing it, they'll just lose again in '04.
