I've written lots of smut. Most of them rubbish. All of them unfinished.

What happenes if I did actually finish them and submit them to Lit? Do I get automated e-mail response telling me they have spelling mistakes and no good, they violate Lit rules so they are no good, or you are not there so they are no good?

What do I have to do? Do I have to give them to volunteer editors who don't know what's good nor bad? Do I have to submit each smut with different user names?

Are you there, Laurel?

I don't really care either ways. Not any more.

Dear C,
At least you have a positive attitude.

Ps. Why not finish something, submit it, and see what happens?
Pps. Hint: Sheep in the story assures acceptance.

Oh, great, M.

You just killed me.

Rejoice!

Have a laugh. That's what's all about, isn't it? I'm typing words nobody reads. Is it tomorrow or is it today already? Christ! Time moves fast.

Forget it. I'll just ponder. That's all I ever do.

Let us smell roses. They are neat and nice. Let us smell salt. Sea salt fuck. Brilliant.

Dear Chi,
If you submit something, I'll promise to read it. Such an offer.

Ps. You certainly are a bundle of joy.

Chill:: in case you're half serious:

One doesn't usually get 'automated responses'. If the story is mechanically terrible and unreadable, it will be rejected by a human.

You can fix it up any way you please: your old English teacher, president Bush's speech writer, or your little sister who learned punctuation while you were jerking off.

Or not. Trash it or send it to a "free speech" area that doesn't care what the fuck the message is, even if completely garbled.

When you next submit, if you do, changing the name is unnecessary: the same rules will be applied. I doubt any names are on an automatic reject list: certainly not after a couple rejections.

But, mirroring your own attitude, no one really cares either way.

Just to repeat what others have said, if you submit something, it might be rejected but not automatically. It will be read and if it is full of misspellings, etc., it will be rejected on that basis. If it violates the restrictions, and they are available to anybody who wants to read them, it will be rejected on that basis. In the first case, you can fix it and in the second case you probably can't without a major overhaul. If it is rejected because it totally sucks, there is not much I can say.

Now a question? You have been a member for almost two years and have over 11,000 posts. Is this actually the first story you have submitted?
