I laugh. I laugh a lot.

Some people say I laugh too much. I honestly don't feel that way, but everyone's entitled to their opinions.

I used to be a cranky little girl. I never realized how cranky I was until I was sitting around with my family members a couple of years ago, watching old home movies.

I was thoroughly embarrassed by what a bitch I had been for the better part of my young life. At the rate I was going, I would wind up mean and spiteful in no time.

That was when I resolved to stop taking everything so seriously. I started smiling more... laughing more. I tried to stop being such a cynic and started seeing the brighter side of situations when I could.

I don't understand how some people can be so cranky all the time. I don't understand someone who throws a mini-tantrum over not being waited on immediately at a bar. I can't comprehend why this same person would proceed to be rude and inconsiderate towards a good handful of other people because of not being waited on immediately at a bar.

Rude is a big turnoff. Rudeness ruined the rest of the evening. Rudeness caused me to stop talking and just shut down.

Eck. I need to find a happy man.

:D

It's good to see you smiling again, Jim.

Thanks, cutie. :)

Mostly when I"m smiling it's because I've just given someone the finger....

....even if it's just in my head. ;)

Sometimes all you can really do is laugh at what life throws you. I figure that anyone who is rude to service people and others for no reason other than ego, will soon turn that on me, and they are history.

Then, I go home and laugh at how stupid they looked.

I must be about 5 1/2 :D

So it's told, laughter is the best medicine. Now get tickled!

Ok. I had a few.........

Half way through that bad day yesterday, I started saying to co-workers and myself "I guess I can do nothing but laugh because I don't I'll drive myself insane."

But I still think I'll be a spiteful old man.. :D

Great post! I feel ya. Home movies are tough. I am cringing (sp) less and laughing at myself more though. :D

I'm hoping a stupid-ass grin will suffice...at least maybe keep me at a steady middle age or something.

Laughter and sex.

Does it get any better than that?

I think I am in my mommy's uterus after reading this:

Funny

Edited to say: Shit. You can't link things here anymore.

That's not funny. Necessary maybe, but not funny.

as long as you're not pointing and laughing, it's all good!
;)

I learned some time ago that I have a choice when things og wrong. I can get all upset and throw a fit, etc. or I can find the humor and laugh about it, then deal with whatever it was. I do both but I'm working on making sure that I laugh a lot more than I get upset.

This will make your life alot easier, dealing with all the bad stuff in a calmer way. More people should try it! :rose:

Smart girl.

Sometimes the choices are to laugh or cry when things get bad in life. Laughing is more fun. Thanks for the reminder. :rose:
