I just posted another chapter to my "Interlude 77" series. The whole series (18 chapters so far) concerns a romance (and of course sex) between one man and one woman (with an occasional 'guest star'). The series is inspired by a girl friend of mine, some of her experiences and some of the fantasies she's told me about over the years.

If you have an interest, please do take a look. If you enjoy them, I'd like to hear about it. If you don't, well, thank you for spending the time to read them.

You'll probably get more readers if you include a link to the story. :)

I realize it may be in your sig, but a lot of people (like me) don't have sigs displayed.

Can we break in at chapter 18, or is it necessary to read the preceding 17 chapters? That's kind of a tall order.

Just search for member 'santafegirl7' - it will pop up all of them for you to choose from.

Each is a standalone story. There are a few references in each to things that happened previously, but I've tried to keep it so someone can enjoy any of them by itself.

If you don't care which chapters people read, you should include a link to your submissions page.

Can't help it -- people are lazy. They are more likely to click a link then to go out, find the search function, search your name, etc.

If you cannot take the time to type out a link to the story/stories you're pushing, I won't take the time to read them.

Sales rule #1 - Make it as easy for the customer to choose your product as you can; which in this case includes providing him/her with a link to the story.

Ah, well said. And I agree.

In the time it took you to read this and respond here, you could have searched for my pieces twice. Not everyone agrees with your stance, given the number of hits received over the weekend. Thanks anyway ...

You got hits, but did did you get feedback, which was what you were looking for?

And I still stand by the request for a link. If you want me to read something, as said above, make it easy for me to do so. Why should I spend my time searching for your stories?

And in the time it took you to post any of your posts, you could have included a link.

You do realize, don't you, that it was you who requested that others take their time and effort to help you? Your attitude doesn't show that and if I had this in line to take a look at before, your attitude certainly has erased my interest.

Please be aware that we are not all as good at searching and so on as you seem to assume. A link to your page would have short-circuited all this hassle.

I could not find you by author name, but by story title

So here is the link to her page

Couple of things. One to the OP, what is with the odd chapter numbers? Just curious.

As for the right and wrong of this discussion?

Santafegirl7 it does make sense to place a link with your request its the way it usually works.

But I agree the inherent laziness of people is annoying. Including the fact I could not find you by author name and had to come back here and copy your story name I got this in less than 30 seconds.

As for feedback? I see a strong of H's and 4.8+ not sure what you're wondering about,

At least for me the author search function has been nonfunctional for a couple of years. (Yes, I reported it.) I find authors through the member search.

I've always used the member search. I didn't know there was/had been an author search.

There is (up the menu from the member search on the Story page) and it once worked. Doesn't now--at least for me.
