It's too bad, he seems like the only one who gets it.

The inability to offer real solutions to the problems affecting us is remarkable to me. The fact that their M.O. is to oppose Democrats at all costs and yet not offer any alternatives—I don’t agree with most everything Democrats propose either, but just opposing what they want to do doesn’t address the problem. They always let the Democrats define the problem and offer a solution, and then all they do is oppose it without even recognizing the problem.

I think most people who are going out of their way to make the world a better place and becoming more educated to the realities of social justice for women, transgenders, minorities and homosexuals aren't going to stick around in the Republican party for long.

I know I didn't. A few years ago I just couldn't deal anymore and decided that since they had such a problem with women, minorities and queers (All of which I am), I wasn't going to bother calling myself one anymore. I don't regret it, either.

After that election loss, I thought, well, maybe they have learned their lessons, that the bigotry was going to drag them down and they’ve been out of touch with life in America today.
