back when i was in high school(which has been a few years) at the school dances we had it was a given thing that the last dance would be a slow dance, usually stairway to heaven or nights in white satin, and it was always a big deal with the guys to try and hit on the sexiest girl for this dance , why we called it the last feel dance was that as you were slow dancing the was the last time you would probably get to feel her close up that night because usually you didn't dance with your date, kind of a crazy deal with us guys, did anybody else do stuff like this?

We always ended with a slow dance, too, but I don't remember too many guys trying to hit on the sexiest girls - usually you danced with your date, if you had one.

Of course, I wasn't one of the sexiest girls...

And when I came with my girl friends I did try to dance with the sexiest guy I could find - or at least the sweetest one....

Yeah I know what you mean by last feel dance though, the boys did that too, but we didnt have that term.
