Now that Ernst Zundel (sp?) is being deported from the U.S , is he a Canadian citizen and if so, can they refuse to have him back and repeal his citizenship?

Just curious.

I'm not sure what the deal is on that dude, but I saw the clip on the news last nite....as far as I can tell from his web site he's not a Canadian Citizen, but a German one.

Those outside Canada can be reminded at this point that we are one of the only countries in the world with a Hate Speech law....and Ernst Zundel is the reason why....he's quite a character.

I was reading Mark Bonokowski in the Sunday Sun and he mentioned that Zundel's wife is freaking in case he's deported to Germany, because apparently they have one of the toughest AntiHate laws and repercussions anywhere. She figured he'd be jailed upon entry.

Darn :)

See that pisses me off. He lived here for how many years and didn't take out citizenship? Ugggh...but he wants protection and to be able to do whatever the hell he wants and be protected under our laws.

He immigrated here after WW2 and married a grrl from Montreal, but by the time his immigration papers got through he was already in the Holocast Denying business, so the Gov't .....turned him down.

He fought it and was in deportation proceeding for eons....up to the Supreme Court of Canada at least once.

Ah okay, that makes sense then, but he still should have been deported right away.

I'm going to check his site and see what BS is on there! ;)
