Lake swimming...

It was the cure to my shitty mood and shitty day.

Went to a local lake with honey, and a friend of ours, with his kids. We all splashed around, swam about, and had a blast, then tanned a little, and then went to KFC for popcorn chicken.
I feel much better.

Glad to hear it Vixie. I would try it myself, but all the mudpuddles big enough to swim in have dried up and the police don't like people to be in the reservoir (hard learned lessons...I tell ya).

no, I didn't.. I forgot them when I moved here... but I don't mind.. this lake is really good.. nothing lives around the edges of the lake, which is where we were.. everything lives farther in.

Water moccasins turned me off of lake swimming for a long time. I'm strictly a pool boy now.

I would normally have said no to lake swimming.. I have fears of creepy-crawlies, too.. but today, I got home from work, and was dragged out.. didn't think I'd swim, but it was SO hot outside.. and ... now I'm addicted.. we're going again tomorrow!

Don't fish fuck in lake water?? Do you know how many different types of ucky bacteria is in a lake????? Some lakes are not fit for human swimming, be careful...................

This one is fit for human swimming, don't worry. There are years when it's closed because it's not in good shape. But for the last few years, it's been good.

Did you go swimming in Wisconsin or Minnesota or one of the other Northern Midwest states? If you did you better watch out! Big muskellunge have been known to bite swimmers in the ass putting them in the hospital needing an operation to stitch-up their butt!

Swimming in the lake makes me happy too...even if fish fuck there. I also sleep on hotel mattresses and lord knows what fucks there.

I grew up on lake swimming and also in other probably more dangerus water holes. If it's hot out, go for it. You just have to make sure the quality is good.
