How are you holiday preparations going?

Little less stressed?

Have you made time yet, for that vacation and pool boy? :)

Cassidy

The holiday prep work is going smoother, thanks for asking Cassidy. I haven't gotten time for that vacation, but this week is finals, so next week I do get to relax. How is your week going, what little there is of it thus far?

So far...

so good.

Really , life here this week will be pretty slow. Mine speeds up the closer we get to the holiday.

Good luck on your finals. What are you in school for?

Cassidy

I'm a dual major of English and Theater. I've got half of my finals over with, but the two major classes have their finals this week.

Having a dual major, no wonder you are stressed:)

How much time do you get off from school?

Enough to regroup and energize I hope.
Cassidy

I get from this Friday until January 11th off, so I get plenty of time off to breathe.

Wishing you..

a very delightful holiday, LDF!!

Hope you get a chance to really relax before you start back to school.

Best Wishes,
Cassidy

Thank you juicylips, I'm actually going to visit a dear friend in Vermont. No pool boy, but still, it should be relaxing. Happy Holidays, and many good wishes for your New Year.

Forgot to tell you..

if that av is you..you are gorgeous!!! :)

Have a great time in Vermont.

Cassidy

The av is actually a picture Nessus kindly found for me. I've been debating putting up a real picture of myself, but I'm worried that it might scare people. Thank you for the compiment though.

Ok...so is this you now?? :)

Cassidy

Yes this Avatar is me. A friend of mine stopped off to bring me my order from Peet's Tea & Coffee (We trade off turns being delivery to an entire group of friends) and saw that I was fooling around with Paint Shop Pro. He dared me to post it as my Av for at least a week. So, in short, yes, that is my ugly mug.

Thank you for the compliment Cassidy, but there are far more beautiful ladies than I at Lit. As for the real me, you see her all the time, for I am the words I write, as they are a part of me.

Touche'

Thanks for reminding me of that.:)

I'd like to apply for the position of pool boy. I have plenty of experience with cleaning pools and testing the chemical balance, as my parents had a large pool and it was my job to keep it up.

LOL! Thanks STP, that's sweet of you, but unfortunately, no pool. If you have any snow survival tips, or know of a person who can stable sit a spoiled pet of a horse, I'll be eternally greatful, though.

Very Cool, stressed enough? Sorry, had a director of an acting teacher, so I got put through my paces this semester.

Snow survival tip #1: Pay the heating bill
Snow survival tip #2: Pray for no snow

As for the spoiled pet of a horse, my niece has a horse and is well versed in taking care of them, maybe I could get her to take care of yours too.

Thanks, fortunately, I only have to survive a New England winter for one week, but I've only seen snow twice in my life, so. . .

The spoiled pet of a horse is Talesin, a Desstier (if you want a reference on horse breeds, a desstier is the sort of horse that is often used for a war charger in Renn Faires, and was used back in the olden days) and actually is sweet as a stolen kiss. Problem is convincing people that something with hoofs the size of dinner plates can be gentle is sort of a excersize in convincing.

It'd be no problem to convince my niece, she absolutely loves horses. She is going to MSU when she graduates to study to be a veteranarian (sp?). Only problem I can see, is that it'd just be too dam far for her to travel for her to horse-sit for you, sorry.
