Lady deep in the Forest

hearing the relief from Mikaneya's lips show in her words i know i have reassured her.

"Im sorry to have startled you Mikaneya"

Shaking my head slightly i freed the water from my eyes and noticed Mikaneya standing next to me with her hand outstretched

"Thank you"

Taking Mikaneya's outstretched hand i gradually get to my feet, the swim having taken energy i feel slightly tired, no thoughts enter or leave as my mind goes blank. Holding her hand gently i speak softly "I think a nap would be nice dear lady."

Slowly I take take Talan's hand to help him up...still in awe at how handsome he is and why I never noticed...

"Talan, if you are tired then you should take a nap...I agree with that."


I offer Talan a warm nurturing smile. And quickly pick up my discarded clothes...slipping on my jeans and my shirt...and playfully I tease him...

"Talan, would you like to wear my...um...underclothes?"

*laughing* as I take the tired Talan's hand and lead him to my home...

"Ya know I think we will not have our ritual tonight, you are tired and one must be there in mind, body and Spirit...but, I hate to leave you Talan I feel that our guest is close and I need to change...I will see you at the cabin. Sorry, sweetie...I guess I better run."

With a quick kiss on Talan's fuzzy cheek I turn abruptly and take off running for the cabin, to meet the guest

Hearing the laughter and teasing in Mikaneya's voice i raise a smile........ i follow behind and then hear her words.

"Mikaneya go take care of the guest, shaking my head i let the words sink in and realising what was needed let my thoughts work for me."

Mikaneya do not cancel the ritual tonite i shall be there in mind, body and spirit. I am heading there now and will be ready for tonight.

Stopping i turned and picking up my loincloth i headed off through the forest for the sacred spot.

As I rush home running as fast as I can, I hear Talan's thoughts...as a smile comes to my face...rushing into the house flinging the door wide open and running into my room I dress in my summery dress and wait out in the main room for my guest...a rapping upon my door is heard, then I hear the door knob being grasped and turned as the door softly opens wide...I dont say a word as I move towards the tall thin man whom looks so much older than he is *sighs*...someday people will learn that there is more to life than working and trying to out do the person that lives next door...I smile softly and sweetly at the man as he enters in through the archway...I walk towards him...and before he can speak...and put my fingers to his mouth in a gesture of 'shhhhhhhh'...I offer my hand to him and lead him...
"take my hand and walk with me."
the gentleman takes my hand...I tell him that Love can not be bought or given against ones will ...His visit was very short...he was in a hurry ... he is like the living dead. truly sad..I walk alone to the secret room and remove the 'Gre-Gre bag' from the altar...stepping backwards away from the Altar...I hold the bag tight to my chest...and walk back out to the Man the man asks me how much for my work...I simply reply to him...

"its was my pleasure, there is no charge for gifts"

The man leaves just a quickly as he came...once I know he was and is gone I head down to the sacred spot...with candles and lighter...and oils for the skin along with some incense...blanket for sitting upon...the trek seemed longer tonight than it did other days...speaking softly as I approach the sacred spot

"Talan, Im ready."

Talan

Having reached the sacred spot i crawl under the leaves and close my eyes letting the forest spirits heal me.......Feeling recharged i stand and walk to a stream nearby where i drink healthily. During this time i wonder how all is going for Mikaneya with the visit and also Shadow, not having seen Shadow for a little while i send thoughts through the forest to make sure he is okay.

Hearing footsteps i listened for awhile as they got closer and then stopped in the clearing........ Peering out from underneath the leaves near the forest's floor i noticed Mikaneya standing there carrying all the necessary tools for tonights ritual. Stepping out from underneath the low branches, my movements methodical and casual as i made my way closer to the vision of the forest i saw before me.

"Mikaneya, im ready too."

The distance between us closed as my eyes travelled up and down her body, seeing her in a new light i shook my head a little and pushed those thoughts away..............My words had been said as i walked, our eyes met as our thoughts met and turned their attention to helping ease the pain and suffering.
