What beauty product can you not live without?

Do you moisturize and if so what is the brand name?

I'm on the look out for something better than I currently use. :)

I'm not a female and I don't know much about beauty products, but I have female friends in Ireland who say that they couldn't live without Oil of Olay.

Moisturizer. Without it I get so dry I flake. Otherwise I'm pretty flexible.

On Sunny and Ruby's suggestion, I tried the Burt's Bees Carrot Day Creme and I am LOVING it!

The only problem with it is that i wish it came in a tube, not in a jar. I hate scooping it out and getting it under my fingernails! LOL

I couldn't live without my Burt's Bees lip balm.

I use drug store moisturizers now. They seem to work as well as the expensive ones. I do use cream day and night though, as my climate is dry.

Pricey but worth it: Dermalogica daily microfoliant.

Oh, and use you eye cream around your eyes and your lips.

St. Ives Oil Free Moisturizer (facial moisturizer with cornflower extract). It's cheap, the only one that doesn't dry out my skin, and doesn't make me break out.

And ONLY Maybelline make-up products, (Aside from my MAC lipstick- thanks Rubes  ).

I've been breaking out the past week, I think mostly because of stress but I hate this! lol

I really never broke out when I was a teenager and here I am 29 and suddenly I'm now doing it.

Not to mention I've noticed those fine lines around my eyes and mouth more than before. *sigh*

I don't want to look years and years before my time and I've always been pretty lax about putting gunk on my face to keep it smooth. I guess because I've been spoiled up till now and never really had to worry about it.

I can get those sort of products around here EE and it's hard to find certain things some people mention, thanks.

Nora you can buy a tube and scoop up the cream into it. lol

What other products do they have in the Burt's Bees line? What all are t hey good for?

They do! I've seen it at my local Fred Meyers health food department. :) I tried it, and everyone at work wondered where the carrots were :D

Renova.

"Renova is the first topical cream that has been demonstrated to decrease wrinkles, mottled hyperpigmentation, and skin roughness. Renova is also effective against stretch marks, such as seen on the abdominal wall in women after pregnancy."

$117 a tube. $30 for the Dermatologist. Prescription. I have no idea what my skin would look like without it. I will never know again!

Are you serious, Lick? You've seen it in a tube?? How come I can't find it in anything but the jar?? That's annoying as hell! *hitting the website now*

Kitty? Check their website www.burtsbees.com

I especially love the factory outlet link :D They change just about every day!

Thanks Lickerish and Nora for the link.. I'm looking now. :)

wow ksmybuttons! If I had the cash I'd try it. My skin has no elasticity to it and having a child ruined me. lol I'd try it just for the stretch mark bit alone.

I abused my fair, thin skin for years. Ah well, the price we pay for beauty.

I can live without make up, but I wouldn't know what I would do without MAC, that is my product of choice

I looked on the website, didn't see it. Do you have a Freddies in your area?? If all else fails, I could post you some ;)

Kitty, the best thing you can do to save your youthful skin is to stay out of the sun, wear sunscreen every day, summer and winter, and a big hat if you're going to be at the beach, pool, gardening, etc.

Also, put your moisturizer on while your skin is still wet - it will seal in the moisture that way.

I didn't see it, either. No Freddies, but I'll check around next time I'm out to see if any of the local sources carry it in the tube. Oh man! YES! My dreams have been answered! LOL

Thank you, Licky!!!

Plug your zip code into the "store locator" on the website, I'll bet you find something close. :)

I know Ruby and I'm terrible for not keeping out of the sun. I even go to the tanning bed. *blush*

When I was at the beach on vacation in August I had a horrible sunburn so I'm not overly anxious about doing something stupid like that again. I was still peeling a month later when I visited emi. - it wasn't a face burn btw tg.

I still get carded when I buy alcohol and the occasional cigarette carding. But these fine lines are killin me now. Laugh lines. Ugh.

lol I would Nora.. you can get a tube from Walmart for just a buck or two and save your nails. :D

Buttons, how long did you use Renova before you noticed a difference?

Did it really fade freckles and make a noticable difference on fine lines?
