Ladies I need advice

I was all ready to get a drastic haircut today, then some random(attractive) lady said how great my hair was. Not sure what she liked but then I wasn't sure how to cut it. Was going to cut it pretty short and spikey but now I not sure.

I would only suggest a slight trim but keep the length on top.
