Ladies, how do you show an interest in a man?

My bf's brother is a quiet guy who works alone in CA. When he's out and about, he draws the attention of women to him for some reason and he doesn't even realize it. He doesn't believe it either. He is clueless that he is being hit on....he thinks they just are asking innocent questions of him. How can I prove to him that he's a lady magnet? How can he learn to pick up the signs when he is being hit on?

I'm sure if you made a pass at him, he might get an idea

It's my bf's brother!!

Why would I make a pass at my bf's brother?? I'm quite happy with my b/f, thank you. I want to help teach him to read signs given off by others...my making a pass would not teach him a thing.

A couple of decades ago my then fiance told me I was clueless that this girl that kept coming over to borrow my copy of The Wall Street Journal was in fact hitting on me I just thought she was interested in advice on her 401k...( exploiting some loopholes in our company's plan I managed to double mine in a year)

Now I'm happily divorced from said fiance and that 'stalker' pops up as a friend of a friend on Facebook not a friend from that work place but it turns out she went to my high school I never knew that.

Still single looks the same as she did 20 years ago and no kids. I don't want to ask her what her retirement plan looks like these days because she's probably a Millionaire. I spent all of mine in keeping up with the deficit spending that we ran for 20 years and five kids.

So I friend her not only do I think now that my fiance was completely wrong: this girl doesn't even remember me.....

Anyway the moral of the story is just because you know his good qualities you may or may not be picking up on signals of the girls are to your way of thinking giving off.... maybe you're projecting your feelings about what a good guy he is..

It really doesn't matter anyway whether they are or are not into him he should figure out which ones he's into and pursue them. Or some nice young man if it turns out he actually swings that way.

I highly doubt she doesn't remember you. Women have a long memory.

I show an interest by talking to them, kidding around, finding out what their interests are, and it doesn't necessarily mean the sole purpose is just pursuing for romantic purposes. Men are just interesting to me.

Can flirt with a man and not want to bed or date him, especially at work etc.

Sure there's a line but maybe they're just happy, outgoing people. If I REALLY like someone there's not much I can do to hide it  whether I wanted to or not, but there's lots of guys I just like as people and sometimes could be missconstrued I'm sure.

Long as always honest no harm in any of it. Expect he's a big enough boy to look after himself and maybe best way to help would just be to generally enquire about if he's actively looking to meet anyone? He may have reasons he's not..... getting over someone, into someone in particular you don't know about....... changing either of those for him would be more drama than help I'm sure but asking and showing an interest might just get him thinking about stuff himself

Very true that women do not forget...I remember I was training a new girl at my job and she was completely throwing herself at me which was awkward...yet when she found out that I was married, she started throwing stuff at me (playfully. mind you--not psycho bitch crazy--haha) and didn't show up to work ever again. A couple years later, my wife and I went to a restaurant...and she was waiting on us...and my wife saw that she was glaring at me until it took me a moment to realize it was her...awkward again.

I tell them I am interested. I hate when people, esp men assume that I am more interested than I am. Of course my forwardness of telling them often scares the hell out of them ;)

Sounds a tad strange.

I show interest in a man by trying to get to know him better ... find out how he thinks, what's important to him, how he treats other women.

But the hard part for some men is trying to persuade them that I'm not interested in them.

Yep, that is the hard part here too.

Getting to know someone better is a natural part of human interaction if you like the other person on whatever level and for me is not a sign of specific sexual interest.

On a further note sexual interest and friendship does not mean I want to be in an exclusive relationship with them.

Let him know upfront that youre window shopping for a luv trade-up and he's better suited for another gals starter-luv.
