Hasselhoff Talks 'Rider' Film
Fifteen years after 'Knight Rider' and Kit the car finally fell away from our TV screens, the star of the show has announced he's making a feature film.
That's right kids! David Hasselhoff reckons there's life in the old car yet and tells Popcorn he's all set to make a "very big feature film" based on the talking car and his detective sidekick.
According to the actor, "we made the deal on Friday". He credits much of the idea to "all the fans in the UK" and believes "not a day goes by when people don't say 'Knight Rider'". Hell, it's on our lips every day.
Although the movie is in very early stages, Hasselhoff already has one or two plans for his big comeback, explaining: "We're talking about doing it a little bit like 'The Matrix'." The mind boggles.
Of course, 'Knight Rider' wouldn't be the same without the original cast, but Hasselhoff admits his Michael Knight might have to be a "little bit older, like I am". He's already persuaded William Daniels, the voice behind KITT the car, to return and says the late Edward Mulhare (who played Knight's boss Devon Miles) is going to come "back as a hologram".
We know you must all be jumping up and down for joy at the news, so why not click here and watch David Hasselhoff explain it for himself.
