King Cakes and bacardi

I've spent the better part of today baking king cakes and popping on and off lit in between. Somewhere in between I've been sipping bacardi. So now my cakes are almost done and Mardi Gras is almost ready to start. This thread is about your party mode. Tell me about it. Is there an annual event you really look forward to? Down here we get silly for Mardi Gras and have few regrets which makes it so much fun.

Well since my bday is on Fat Tuesday this yr I am seriously considering flying down to Nola for a few days to celebrate it properly! Usually just have a king cake made then hit up a few bars however nothing beats a good ok hand grenade <3

It's about to get nice again in a week or so, so it will just be me and some others, out on the back deck, iced drinks as the sun goes down, just relaxing. Though now I want to make gumbo, sg!
