Liam across his desk at the man sitting opposite him. He had always tried to follow the adage that you should never kill the messenger, but right now he was being tested. He hated getting bad news, and what he had just heard was very bad news indeed. The only thing that saved the other man's life was that he was a cop. Not just any cop, but a dirty cop and that made him more valuable than as a cathartic release of frustration. You see, even though Liam may look like a businessman, sitting in his office, he wasn't. In actuality he was a criminal. He was involved in any number of criminal enterprises, from money laundering to drug trafficking and prostitution. Of course he owned a number of legitimate businesses to make him money as well, but he real wealth came from clandestine activities.
"I see," he said finally after a long silence. "So there is going to be an attempt to get someone into my organization through one of the strip clubs I own... Interesting. That means it'll have to be a woman. More opportunities to get a job aside from bouncer for a woman."
Liam stood up and walked to the wet bar sitting in a recess of the wall to his right. He was six foot three inches, just over two hundred pounds but in great shape physically. He poured out two scotches, and brought them back to his desk, setting one infront of his pet cop. "Make sure you are one of her handlers. I think it's time I added another cop to the payroll." He grinned, a plan already forming in his head.
