I love superstitions, conspiracies, old wive's tales, whatever the fuck.

The Packers play the Redskins in Washington this weekend, this is the Skins' last home game before Election Day, which has predicted Presidential elections since 1936. If Washington wins, Bush (the incumbent) will win. Coincidence? Maybe.

John Edwards stumped at my old college in Eau Claire last week, good for him.

Cheney was in town the next day, and Bush shortly after that, but they were smart to keep clear of the university. There's still some old hippies left over from the 60's there, not to mention 70's liberals. Find themselves at the bottom of the Chippewa in no time. The riots on Water Street arn't what they used to be, but old traditions can return...

Bush and company spent their time with the rednecks in Altoona. Haw. There's a constituancy for ya. Wonder if they ever got the weeds out of their lake...
