I honestly though it was amazing that he was going "on the record". I suspect his disgust for the former president's behavior made it inevitable though.

Many soldiers join the military because that's all there is in their area for decent jobs or money for college. Most of the manufacturing is gone. Even the farm work is done mostly by machines and illegal immigrants. Trump was the only one saying anything serious about less war, bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US, and closing the border. Seven years after the election, Trump haters still miss the basics of how and why Trump was elected, maybe because they never listen to anyone outside their own socioeconomic classes. Insulting anyone who disagrees as Nazis, Trumptards, MAGAts, etc. is not listening.
