Keep Believing in Yourself and Your Special Dreams

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be. That's when you have to tell yourself that things will get better.

There are times when people disappoint you and let you down, but those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgements and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself and all that you are capable of.

There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are, and you will also see yourself developing into the person you have always wanted to be.

Life is a journey through time, filled with many choices; each of us will experience life in our own special way. So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be, because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the dreams that you know are meant to come true for you.

Sometimes, it feels like all you have left is your dreams and aspirations.

That is when they are the most important.

Yes, use the bad times to grow, learn, strengthen yourself and the good times are that much better.

Nice post, tswyk.

Good thoughts.

I find things come in cycles and when things seem most down, sooner or later they have to come up.

Happy Thanksgiving.:rose:

Sometimes still believing in your dreams and thoughts is the hardest thing to do.

Thanks tswyk, good thoughts to live from day to day. Have a good T-Day.

LTR?

As much as it can be frightening to think like this, you hvae to remember that everything is temporary.

There is always room for growth and something better is always waiting for us.

Truly.

I posted this just as I was walking out the door for my regularly schedule Holiday Festivities, so this is the first chance I've had to check back in.

I'm glad to see you all stopped by...

Hope you had a Happy Turkey Day!!!

Very true LTR - what it boils down to is believing in yourself, and that's sometimes a very hard thing to do.

Nice post tswyk, thanks.

Nice post tswyk, thanks.

Within the last year, I found my "rock bottom." A divorce, a significant job change, a tumor, and a bad relationship all contributed to this.

I believe we all have a point at which hope is elusive and despair takes over. I hope not everyone has to find this point.

During that time, my friends and family tried diligently to show me my true worth and I was blind to it.

Ultimately, I had to believe in myself. I had lost everything else. I had to make some changes in my life. Changes were slow coming, motivation was a problem, but I pulled it together. And since that realization, I am moving upward at an astounding rate.

Food for thought? When you are at rock bottom, where else can you go, but up?

Thank you for this wonderful message darling.

I have to agree with the others, I found that, as the song says, once you reach rock bottom there is only two ways to go --- straight up or sideways.

The climb up is rough, it leaves raw places that sometimes remain but thats a good thing, it means you aren't developing callouses in those places.

I'm enjoying recreating me, one day soon I'll introduce her to all of you.

Dawn

This is something I found some time ago and now have hanging on the wall in my house. It says alot to me.

Comes the Dawn

After a while, you learn the subtle difference
between holding a hand and chaining a soul.
And you learn that love doesn't mean possession
and company doesn't mean security,
and loneliness is universal.
And you learn that kisses aren't contracts,
and presents aren't promises...
and you begin to accept your defeats
with your head up and your eyes open,
With the grace of a woman, not the grief of a child.
And you learn to build all of your hope on today,
because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain,
and futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight
because tomorrow's ground can be too uncertain for plans;
yet each step taken in a new direction creates a path
towards the promise of a brighter dawn.
After a while you learn that even sunshine burns
if you get too much.
So you plant your own garden,
and nourish your own soul
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure...
That you really are strong,
and you really do have worth.
And you learn and grow...
With every good-bye you learn.
