keep a relationship secret

A friend and I started dating and we're keeping it a secret from our other friends for a few weeks at least until we can figure things out. First, is this really truly possible? Secondly any tips on how to keep it secret from friends etc...?

Sure - just don't tell ANYONE until you're ready. If you're out in public, no PDA in case someone's around to spot you. If you're seen, hey, you're just friends out for a movie or whatever. Deny, deny, deny. They'll know you were lying later, but I guess that doesn't really matter to you at this point.

I was sleeping with my ex for a while. We did not want anyone to know because we knew we would get met with a lot of judgement. So we didnt say anything. We had hung out together before we started screwing around, so people really didnt know what to think with us together on occasion. Often times we just had "plans" and didnt say with who or why. Its possible but when you need anothers opinion the cat generally gets out of the bag. And people figured it out after a month or so... Have fun, its kinda thrilling and make sure that thrill is not why you are together...

That is kind of the situation, we've been friends and we're going to see if it's more than that, and we're not sure how our mutual friends would view it. Just wanna wish ya'll luck. I have been in that position before. It is great, then bad when you just wanna be together. Hopefully when that time comes for you, ya'll will be able to go public and all will be fine ~

Well it's made a little easier because it's somewhat long distance (about 3 hours drive) with most of my friends being where she is.
