It was one thing for Deplorables to bully and scapegoat minority groups, but this time they tried to pull that shit with a majority.

Women live longer than men, and they are ready to vote in large numbers. The misogyny and Sharia Law approach of the Deplorable movement will prove to be its biggest error.

You have to be more specific. AJ the Deplorable lives in Kansas and gets spanked on the Lit daily.

SCOTUS ruling on R vs W accomplished exactly what it was supposed to accomplish **give the citizenry in each state a vote on the issue** Unfortunately the **fire! fire! hair on fire!!** marxist are now wallowing in their own ignorance.

Bodily autonomy is not a state issue.

Next go ahead and tell us how you won't vote for politicians that will work to enact a national ban. We all need a good fairy tale.

Au Contraire!! In a democracy the citizenry can make pretty much anything a state issue.

Abortion isn’t that high on my list of issues. I never agreed to a total ban on abortion. If a ban is voted into law, like all other laws, I will abide by the law. Myself and my family will abide by our religious belief which is our right, which doesn’t infringe on other rights. I won’t stomp my fee fees and go batshit crazy and start burning shit down.

Or, the people of a State voted to decide what they want for themselves, which is what the Supreme Court suggested.
wtf.
the way Republicans are gaslighting people.

they are claiming that they got rid of the totalitarian big State by transferring decision-making from the over-arching to small States
when all the big State was saying, was that no mob has the right to peep into an individual woman's hole

In the US, abortion policy is a state decision whether you like it or not.

Your comment assumes that all republicans are pro-life and all democrats are pro-choice and that red states will vote to ban abortion. You're naivete of our political system is quite apparent.

before this measure took place, no individual state banned abortion. Now several individual states have, even for 10 year-olds.
Your point???

Negative ghostrider, basic health care is a federal mandate.
The only question is whether abortion is considered part of basic health care.
The overwhelming majority of women in Kansas voted that it was.
The slack-jawed, mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging "women as birth vessels" movement declare otherwise.
Common sense prevailed in Kansas, an ominous harbinger of things to come for radical conservatives.

Abortion policy is being made at the state level. If you haven’t figured that out yet, you haven’t been paying attention.

I don't think the argument is where the policy is being made. It is more a matter of how those state constituents will appreciate that policy is now a state matter compared to a federal right. This may cause those constituents to decide to only vote for those candidates that are willing to move the policy back to the feds.

Wingnut nation is attempting to regulate basic health policy at the state level. This will not end well for them. or you.

Yes, and this goes way beyond basic health policy. They realized that imposing their radical Sharia Law on a whole host of issues was too difficult to do at the federal level, so they want to use red states as their platform for getting a foothold.

I believe Kansas is a red state. :)

Unless the pineapple’s life’s in danger, abortion is elective, not essential.
Even Rob’s uterus knows that.

Criminalizing abortion is a de facto measure that has the life/wellbeing of a fetus supercedes the life/wellbeing of the birthing vessel.

oh, and I chvckle when beta males like you 'n Que try and emasculate their political opponents. SAD.

The Republicans have to learn that there's a limit to the tyranny of the minority to control the will of the majority. This vote--and most likely the coming one in Michigan--is going to put that reality right under their noses.

Until you all merrily and gleefully vote for politicians that will ban it at a federal level.

The lies never stop coming from you fanatics.

yeah, adrina you're right.
While icanhelp is much more nuanced and more enjoyable to engage with than his pig-headded fanatic peers, he keeps feeding me lies

Most Americans don’t want a complete ban on abortion and states legislators will have to adjust.

are you crazy?
just look at the three 11 year-olds (one from Ohio, the other ones from other States --can't remember which, it was on Democracy now) who had to travel out of States

too late for the others by the time your idealism materializes

Most Americans don’t want a complete ban on abortion and states legislators will have to adjust.

And yet here you are, who will vote for politicians who will enact a national ban.

It's like you are so mired in your own bullshit that you fanatics have been spewing for years that you can't stop gnawing on that imaginary bone.
