There's no guarantee that even a Democratic Congress would be able to stop him if he attempts to abuse executive orders and executive powers to impose martial-law or something like that. The best hope then would be that the Pentagon brass would refuse to follow such an order.

You got to respect that she pulled off a two-fer, both coming out and making her endorsement. I'm not very familiar with her, but I like that much about her. It certainly makes sense as an LGBTQ person to vote for a candidate who has, while not a perfect record, a far better one on LGBTQ rights than Trump does. Especially since more Trump appointees could well reverse Obergefell or even Lawrence. As a bisexual man myself, it works for a reason for me.

2024 Republicans: Fuck Your Feelings. Oh, and sure he cheated on all three wives, committed multiple felonies, paid off a porn star with hush money, incited violence against his own Vice President, lied about the 2020 elections, pushed for fake electors, asked the Georgia Secretary of State to commit election fraud, kept classified documents, was held civilly liable for rape, bragged about groping women on tape, urged the lynching of five innocent young men, basically didn't raise his younger daughter (and urged his then mistress to abort her), accepted emoluments (an impeachable offense if he had already taken office, but he skirted on the technicality of only being President-elect), evaded income taxes, and cheated multiple vendors and employees through multiple bankruptcies. But he'll get us those judges and justices and he'll get us vouchers for private schools.

A neat summary of the decline of the Grand Old Party.

ETA: Yeah, I keep thinking of more unethical things that he did, and while I'm no saint (certainly not by the standards of the average normie), they keep coming to mind. I need to stop though. I'll be here forever, constantly editing this list.
