Um, the major looting and burning occurred under DonOld’s administration, and was related to DonOld telling cops to be rough on handcuffed individuals, which resulted in Derek Chauvin (a cop who supported DonOld) murdering George Floyd while he was handcuffed.

The political affiliations of those who actually rioted and looted are largely unknown, but there are known examples of right wing groups / individuals inciting and participating in the rioting and looting.
