Trump was responding to a very publicized crime with his own perspective on the justice system. That's not racist.

Trump said nothing about race in his ad or with his opinions on the matter. The existence of race tensions is not Trump's fault, especially when he did not make race an issue.

I always predicted that if Roe were ever overturned it would be an electoral disaster for the GOP -- and that is proving to be the case.

Abortion is an issue on which the swing voters are people who are morally uncomfortable with abortion, but still want the clinics to be there in case their daughters get pregnant. When abortion was a constitutional right, set beyond the reach of ordinary electoral and legislative politics, those could vote Republican without fear that would really threaten abortion access -- but now?

Thanks for all the great post. It is so nice to follow this thread! I got my flu and covid shot to day and the girl that gave me the injection said she liked my Harris/Walz hat. I like it myself actually. She was very much for Kamala and thanked me. She can give me a shot anytime! I will add that putting on ignore those what ever you call them makes this a much better place. I feel a small bit of peace and pleasure almost like going to see my Domme and knocking on the door. I know I will enjoy!
