lol, I would assume not. While I might have the weight to create the force, the weight might not have the distance to exceed the elasticity limit of the wood and cross from bowing to breaking. though I guess rather than my initial thought of simply weighing down each end on a table, I could instead support it at like the 11 inch mark on both sides, thus decreasing the elasticity and reducing the shear force needed, but I still think the impact force would be too widely distributed. though maybe some day I will try it.
