It didn't take me long years back to catch-on how to really 'strut' heels, and, in fact I found the higher the heel, the easier the walk. I prefer 5-7" heels but have been on 9" which I found a bit different. As for the boots, I have a local cobbler here that has either fixed stiletto platforms I blew out, broken tips (infrequently), or built custom leather for me. I came across those boots and brought him the pictures, several actually, and should have them inside of a month. Just a tadbit of info, a male is 2-3 sizes up from a female. I wear 10-11 men's so that's 12-13 femme, and if it weren't for my height. 5'10" @185lbs (add the heel height (giggles)) everything would be off skew. I go 6'3" to 6'5" dressed. That about sums it up.

damn 5 to 7inch, I'd die. even a slight heel, the balls of my feet really hurt very fast. I guess I have a stompy walk, I am not sure. but when they are on, just the whole body alignment shift. I do actually think boots are better. and yeah US shoes sizes are so weird. I wear an 8 in women's usually, steel toed work boots in a 5.5. Euro shoe sizing makes sense, and even UK, as a men's in the same size is just a tiny bit bigger, but yeah US, I swear we just make this shit up. Kids sizing, both boys and girls, follows mens sizing, and grows into it. then they just make a new branch that fits into nothing for women. it is weird.
