Just when you thought DeSantis couldn't get any worse

They're holding on to that Jan. 6th demonstration tighter than Linus holds on to his blankie. *chuckle*

It gives them cover for their myriad of transgressions:

SEE! They do it TOO! That condones every single one of our violent peaceful protests!

Poor ol' Sgt Oblivious.

He just lacks the intelligence to address the topic,
so, instead, he temper-tantrums the board to death.

And yes Spidey you do succeed on a regular basis with boring us...

I'm not the one who resorts to personal attacks when I can't discuss the topic.

Perhaps they see it as a way to victory in '22. My take is that they're holding on to a lead life preserver. Trump is out of office, the economy is in the shitter, foreign policy is little better than the economy, and their favorite media outlets are tanking along with the economy and foreign policy. Yet they hold on to that blankie. The only people that give a shit about Jan. 6th anymore are the hard-core "progressives", whose stock is tanking faster than America Great Health's.

Experience has taught me that the party in power is always its own worst enemy.

It can never measure up to what it promises which is why I always say the Libertarian motto is,

All we have to offer is less and more of it.

But people won't vote for that, they want more,
especially if they think it also punishes someone else...

Going after Commies has always been a great American pastime. Americans have probably put more of them into the closet, the ground, and in the hospital than any other nation on earth.

Actually, the Germans did a lot more of that.

It's the very essence of CRT. Those systems of oppression have to be maintained by someone, no?

No. Once established, they have a life of their own. If racism were to vanish overnight from all American hearts and minds, the socioeconomic disadvantages of African-Americans would remain in place.

But that's not what CR Theorists actually say or believe. They say the systems are racist to the core and that white people perpetuate them because of that fact, ergo they are all racists even if they don't engage in any overt racist acts.

No, what they say is:

Critical race theory (CRT) is a cross-disciplinary intellectual movement that began in the United States in the post-civil rights era as 1960s landmark civil rights laws were being eroded and schools were being re-segregated.[1] With racial inequalities persisting even after civil rights legislation was enacted, CRT scholars in the 1970s and 1980s began reworking and expanding critical legal studies' (CLS) theories on class and economic structure and the law[2] to interrogate the role of U.S. law in perpetuating racism.[3] They said that the liberal notion of value-neutral U.S. laws had a significant political role in maintaining a racially unjust social order,[4] where formally color-blind laws continue to have racially discriminatory outcomes.[5

Which is pretty much what I said, and which is undeniably true, and does not depend on white people continuing to be racist, consciously or unconsciously.

Nothing there refutes what I said, and the same people who wrote that also conscript white people into the ranks of the guilty by virtue of the color of their skin.

So what? That is at least a defensible POV, and deserves to be brought to the attention of schoolkids.

It's pure hokum, unsupported by anything even remotely resembling scholarhip. All it has is assumptions that are left unquestioned and deemed unquestionable. As such, it's really more of a secular religion, not even an academic theory.

LOL! The LibTards hate him because he’s sooooo successful!

They truly live in a bizarro world. DeSantis refuses to lockdown the state but someone how he's the authoritarian. The only area where Dems. think you should make your own decisions is abortion. In every other instance, they know what's best for you. They are a fucking joke.

The hypersensitivity of some White people over racism is laughable. "I had an uncomfortable moment once about race and it really upset me!"

Nobody was hung from a tree, dragged by a pick up truck, beaten or murdered by police officers. But they just felt uncomfortable and it was such a harrowing experience they feel the need to whip out their reverse racism card and start howling like hell won't have it.

We all know that charges of racism today are about 95% spurious. That's why there are so many "hate crime" incidents that turn out to be hoaxes. Cries of "racism" held sway over legislatures for decades, and were used to extract trillions in payment and still more in preferential treatment. Now, when the gravy train seems to be coming to an end, the only solution the racialist Left can seem to come up with is more of the same, so now the oder of the day is convincing America that we're still in 1950s Alabama and the only cure is still more trillions and preferences.

We're smarter now. It's no sale.

What is real?
White Fear!

The KKK is capitalizing on it

MAGA…. ? When exactly was America greater?!
We have certainly lost ground in the last few years
