I think this is a very cool charity idea.
You buy a pixel for a dollar and help make the worlds largest abstract picture ( granted they have a long way to go).
Each donation goes to a medical charity.....and your pixel helps create "art".
A win win I say.

This idea was originally done by a student to pay for his schooling.

He had a million dollar website that was 1 megapixel, each pixel of ad space on the page for helping the student was $1.

He wound up filling the page and paid for his schooling and much much more.

yes ...I remember that story as well....smart guy
but this was just an interesting twist on the idea for a good cause
