This is the truth. Unfortunately, I see having to do some very un-American things in order for America to survive. At least part of America. Pass legislation allowing states to leave. The strategy was pretty obvious (and was called at the time) when he replaced the top slots at the DOD with toddies of no military experience. He counted on calling out the military on his side. Ole Bone Spurs called that one terribly wrong, though.

He attempted a coup. He and his associates need to go to prison.

Just a guess, but I believe the traitor in chief was anticipating there would be a massive counter protest of his rally, and he had recruited some designated agitators who were tasked with inciting a violent confrontation between the two groups. If that had happened, the traitor in chief would have tried to declare martial law and suspend the certification of the election.

The massive counter protest never materialized thanks to the DC mayor warning counter protesters to stay away, so the traitor in chief had to resort to plan B: An orchestrated assault on the Capitol, and open insurrection. It was a violent coup attempt that almost succeeded. There are numerous accounts of how close to succeeding the insurrectionists actually were.

The Capitol police literally saved democracy on January 6th.
