A sincere Christian cannot enjoy sensual thoughts unless he temporarily blots the presence of a Holy God from his consciousness. If you walk in the fear of the Lord and consequently realize that God is evaluating every one of your thoughts (and He is), it will help you quickly reject impure thoughts.

Porn addiction is real many suffer from it countless hours wasted, porn robs time, it robs real happiness and it robs you of everything you value if you let it.

I have made a huge mistake being here. I repent for it before all and Ask forgiveness.
Amen

Realize that victory is possible.
Although in the past we all have fulfilled the lusts of the flesh, now, through Christ, we can say no to temptation and walk in victory. (See Ephesians 2:1–10 and Ephesians 1:17–19.)

As you understand what Christ has done for you, remove hidden provisions for defeat, live in the fear of the Lord, become mighty in Spirit, and use temptations as signals to seek God, you will conquer impure thoughts. And as you win the battle over impure thoughts, impure habits will be purged from your life.
If you need help overcoming this addiction this robber of your life contact me. Otherwise respect my conversion and never send me another sexually explicit message.

in in our lives is similar to a ring in a bull’s nose. Just as the ring empowers the owner to lead the bull around at his own will, so Satan is able to lead us wherever he pleases when we allow sin to stay in our lives. When we sin, we put ourselves into bondage and servitude. We become Satan’s servant and do his bidding. Jesus said, “Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” (John 8:34). The feeling of being enslaved to sin is familiar to all of us.

However, Jesus does not leave us in the captivity of Satan. In Luke 4:18, He says that His purpose is to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners. Through the power of His death on the cross, He offers us the opportunity to die to ourselves in openness and brokenness in order to be made free. “ Knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; For he who has died is freed from sin.” (Romans 6:6–7, NASB). It is possible to be free from lust!

Christ’s victory over sin and death has set us free from bondage. This release does not mean temptation will cease. James 1:14 says, “Every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.” What then is the freedom we have in Christ? It is the freedom to do what is right! You know you are free when you can make the choice to resist temptation and follow after righteousness. God empowers us to walk in freedom from the bondage of sin. “Like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4). (See also Galatians 2:20 and 5:24.)

Complete surrender to God and openness with your family will bring you into liberty. You are set free to live life with a new focus—to love and serve your family. “Ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another”(Galatians 5:13).

A Testimony of Victory
The following testimony from a father demonstrates that freedom from lust is possible.

“I had a wonderful experience tonight. I came home from work around 4:30 p.m., and the door was locked. That meant no one was home. It is pretty rare for me to come home to an empty house. In fact, I’d say today was the first time since I have come clean that it happened. Before I came clean, coming home to an empty house would have meant becoming overwhelmed with temptations to sin. I would have jumped at the chance to be alone in the house. Being alone was my worst temptation, because I could do whatever I wanted without fear of being caught. Sometimes I even subtly tried to arrange windows of time when everyone else would be gone so I could be alone and indulge my lustful appetites.

I can be difficult sorting out when to allow yourself freedom to be yourself and when you need to behave in a more disciplined way.
Good luck in making the right choices for you.

When Satan binds a father through hidden sin, he is free to enter the lives of each family member to torment them. Struggles in a child’s life such as rebellion, lying, fears, moral failures, and other problems are often a direct result of hidden sins in the father’s life. In Mark 3:27, Jesus said, “No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.”

If the enemy can bind the father through hidden moral failure, he can then easily plunder the father’s “goods”—his wife and children. Satan’s ultimate goal for destruction is not focused only on the father, but also on the man’s wife and children. Satan may even leave the father alone, once the father has given him access to his family through unconfessed sin. A father may be gaining victory over his own sin, but as long as he refuses to humble himself and make a full confession, Satan is free to actively torment his wife and children.

Our children are like mirrors that help us see our own lives more clearly. Galatians 6:7 says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” Thus, if we see signs of rebellion, lust, or any other sin in our children, we must first ask ourselves where those sins are present in our own lives.

Just as sin in a father’s life is a powerful tool for Satan, so a father’s open, humble confession is a powerful tool against Satan. A father’s honesty about his own sin releases him from Satan’s bondage and frees him to fulfill his role to his family as their protector.

I'll wade in here, being I'm not exactly set on winning Mister Popularity 2015.

I'm sure Mister God is all knowing and Jesus is our saviour and...umm...stuff.

But see from my perspective if God indeed created everything in a day, six, or even a month or he or indeed it is all knowing and evaluating (complete with sharpie marker and clipboard) I merely see such an entity as one with superior intellect to me. Thus not something to worship but something to glean information off. Exchange a tale or two or even share a decent glass of whisky with.

And of course I would ask the most pressing question of all, what's the platypus all about? I know, I ask the hard hitting questions.

Good luck mady.

Wow this thread really makes me think.....I guess I need to let the water drip so my pipes don't freeze. But good luck to you. You are by far a better person than I.
