I just read a thread on the 'How To' side, it was so nice to see great information on the subject the thread started brought up. I see this over and over here, not just the HT, but all over this site. People sharing their experiences and information is always beneficial and the depth of sharing here is nothing short of amazing. Way cool folks, just way cool.

This might be material for EJFan's political correctness thread, but I prefer to use "erotic story site message board." Calling this place a "porn board" diminishes it.

i realize a lot of people revisit their inquiries to post updates or conclusions... but of the ones who DON'T do that, i wonder how many actually follow the advice they receive and if it did 'em any good.

I love lit for so many reasons and I was directed here originally by a girl who recommended it for the stories. When I thanked her and said how wonderfully entertaining the boards were, she didnt even know they existed....
The GB is fun sometimes, but yep its not for the fainthearted or easily offended.it moves quick and theres always something to catch your eye or strike a chord.
The playground is fun too, but I find it a bit sickly sweet sometimes, but its good to reassure yourself that folk can be as nice as some are nasty.
Ask and you shall receive......in abundance.....

I haven't been here too long, but I have to agree with all of the above. FOr me, its been a bit of a mind-expanding search through all of the garbage out there. CHat rooms have become a waste of time. As a parent, I get tired of being "Daddy" all of the time, and sometimes even husband (that's not meant to knock my wife, she feels the same way at times).

Personally, when you travel though an ordinary, you often wonder what that person would be like. Does the prim and proper women at a lunch table like to be tied and spanked, etc. Here you can find out what they're thinking, learn new things, and chat about something on the other side of the bell curve from the Wiggles.

The only successfuly way of accomplishing that goal is to be an adult about it along with a polite manner. Its get one farther than one might think. In reading the threads, I've found that most here are like that.

Welcome to Lit, Brad and M's girl... enjoy your addiction... I mean stay.

There sure is something special about Lit. There are many genuine people here, those others can be ignored (or when in a nasty mood they're fun to play with... ).

I think LadyJean hit it on the head for me, the HT is a natural for folks that want to share in a more serious way. It's fun too, I've learned incredible amounts here and have consider things from such different views that I couldn't get in the world outside my door. There isn't a lack of variety that's for sure.

As for venturing to the GB, it's great there too. I pick and chose what and where to post. I agree with landcruisergal, the PG can get saccharinly sweet and when I need sweet that's where I go. There's plenty of room here for most everything.

Cate is spot on about the wonder that this board is. It doesn't surprise me one bit, as a seven-year vet of another IBB, that the HT and HT Cafe forums in particular attract a truly helpful and giving "adult" mindset. I don't see a lot of hit and run type postings, very low noise-to-signal ratio overall. Nice to have found this.
