Help!!!! I am having a terrible case of the blahs with my life right now. I am to the point of considering a cross country soul searching trip. Has anyone else been there recently?? Advice is welcome and needed.

Find something you have always been afraid to try and then do it.

To add to that, it doesn't have to be something you're afraid of. This also maybe something you've always wanted to do, but didn't feel as if you had the $, time, ect. Break out of the old cycle and do something adventurous!!

it happens alot, try to stay smiling watch some favorite movies, or book and you might feel better.

Another thought

Putting in my 2 cents.

have you ever thought about giving to others. volunteer somewhere where they need some help. it really puts things in perspective when you realize how much you do have, compared to others who don't have much. a truly pollyanna approach but it works for me.

of course doing this and jumping out of an airplane might also do the trick. lol

best of luck
Skye.

Hi, Kalyn....when I'm down in the dumps I try to remember to do a little soul searching also. It's important to look at what you're expecting in life that you are not getting that is making you feel blah. Make sure these expectations are reasonable then you can either shed them or revive your motivation to get them fulfilled.

If this is a time in your life when you can journey....do it. Times like that don't always come along later.

I am right in the middle of it...I leftmy job of 5 years...selling my house this month and I am risking it all by moving uo in the mountains (my dream for as long as i remember). I have no job up there but I know it will work out......I have decided to surrender to the greater will...finally. I am so tired of medicore people and my life.

Well, funny you should mention the "blahs." I'm right there with ya, Kalyn. Bummer.

I just try to keep moving. If you like to write, try sitting down and letting the words out. I should listen to my own advice, methinks.

I like the suggestion of doing something you've always wanted to do. That's a great idea. Eliminate the regrets!

Anyway, I hope you're feeling better soon, and if you do decide to go on that road trip, I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to send us a postcard...

Take care,
