Just for fun: If your next piece were precision engineered to be among the Most Popular AND Highest Rated stories on Lit, what would it be like?

"It was a dark and stormy night...and they fucked like rabbits."

I think the best shot would be just an insanely graphic trope-laden fuck fest with minimal to no actual plot, but enough plot-bunnies running rampant through the tale that there would be something there for everyone.

It would have to be a brilliantly terrible story in the Incest category.

Oh man. I'm gonna give this a go once OCA is done and out of the way. I have a character in mind who would love to wreak that kind of havoc

Creating a story that will get a lot of views and a high score, isn't an easy trick. Incest usually attracts the most views, but categories like Romance usually gets the highest scores, providing that the story is well written.

I would put it LW and my main would be a five eight guy with a five inch cock. The lady would be a simpering 5’10” redhead with a 36 inch arse and double a breasts. She has a profound stutter for the humour spicing and they would go to counseling after realising that they had rude thoughts one day about people they weren’t married to and it would be all about the psychology involved in helping them realise that this is all fiction and an escape for people who are looking for a distraction. I see solid 5’s in it.

This description is uncomfortably similar to us. May we ask if we know you, sir?

P.S. It's 5.5'...
This is only slightly exaggerated, in the sense that most recent mainstream American movies (of course there are exceptions) are indeed "precision-engineered" to be popular. I guess it was always that way, but it seems more pronounced recently. Some of them fail anyway.

It would probably be the opposite of what I write: A fluffy feel good romance that follows tightly to the approved formula with no questions that true love is in bloom, most likely set in Vermont in the winter in a small town.
This has also been precision-engineered by Hollywood. But I can appreciate it, anyway. My Geek Pride story will be a romance (not quite "fluffy," perhaps). It won't be in Vermont in the winter but rather Virginia in the summer. Much of it is in a real-life, sort of small, town - Doswell, VA. No, I've never been there.

I don't think it follows a tightly-approved formula. Or maybe it sort of does.

I'd precison engineer a generative pre-trained transformer, post-training it using Literotica as a corpus. Then I'd go back to writing stories.
