True feelings... how many of us authors write to express our sexual selves? My hubby constantly complains that i find it hard to speak sexually to him(while we are making love). Yet in my stories I am intimate, blatant and sexually explicict. Are we shy as I am? Seeking confidence in my written words, eager to break out of my prudish shell to evolve as the confident sexual beings i hear of?Am i a hypocrite or do i find it hard to trust him with my sexual feelings? Or also, as i do, do you live for the feedback, clinging ,like a limpet to a rock hoping that people get off on what we write? I have yet to decide if I write for myself or other's enjoyment.

I don't know if this will answer your question or not.

I'm really shy around people, which you'd never be able to tell from my stories. Also, my experiences with sex have all sucked so I tend to live through what I write. I think the more you express yourself through your stories, hopefully, the more open you'll become in real life.

Personally, I don't think that makes you a hypocrite.
