I know it’s not masturbation if someone helps you along, but maybe that’s what you need; someone to help you along and make you feel sexy and desirable when you’re doing it.

Has she ruled out anything that might physically be wrong? And is this a relatively recent issue, i.e. she has been able to reach orgasm in the past?

Hmm...what I can feel is she misses perhaps a connection...the kind of emotion that comes from sharing it with somebody (even virtual) or knowing that somebody who knows/understands her is present with her while she masturbates. Nothing physically wrong I believe, women are more emotional and connect with feelings.....it differs from person to person. Ask her to try that.
