I have worked in a consulting mode with some of the most educated people in the world. I have directly worked for some individuals that graduated in the top of their class in Harvard and Yale. I have had conversation, and thought provoking discussions, etc....... The reason I point this out is I have been utterly amazed and baffled at the intelligence and creative thinking at this forum. I would of never guessed. Sex Site = Incredible intelligence How about that for a law of relativity (I personally am not of the highly educated people!)

all right I have seen that too, but how many people not acquainted with this site would expect the type of political and world history, current events, and philosphy in such deep discussion. Many Physicians and Executives I work with couldn't, believe me!

Well everyone is mostly intelligent in their own way

:p

I think I adore you Problem Child. I bet we could debate forever!!!!!!!!!! THere are Idiots everywhere. Hell, occasionally I'm one of them.

lavender?

Just my observation, but I would have to say that since you've been on the Board, the posts have become a lot more intelligent and thought-provoking.

I think you sell yourself short darling.

TN-Vixen, Thats so sweet, thank you. I will now change my answer to the best compliments I have had.

Thanks Siren, but ultra-intelligent? I couldn't pass high school biology.

But I can dance!

Hazie...high school biology is over rated.

:p

Intelligence... hmmm... well, there is a lot of it here, but I do believe that some people actually hide it from others for fear of rejection.

A common reaction, I think. I thought the same thing when I found the general bb.

There are quite a few current or ex-Mensa members here, based on some prior threads. I can tell you that some of the discussions here at Lit about religion, politics, history, etc. are MORE intelligent (IMHO) than the same discussions between the high IQ groups. You haven't seen nasty until you see a group of people who are trying hard to prove they are smarter than than the rest of the group instead of actually discussing a topic. Here at Lit, the arguments (when they happen) tend to be because the participants are passionate about the topic. That makes them much more interesting to me.
