I submitted another story this morning.. it flew out of my brain and through my fingers since Monday..
It's a non-erotic, and a true story, though it's been embellished a bit to make it into a 'story'.

Just added a 3rd part to it and added some YUMMY eye candy! Wait, you mean if you hadn't started the blog, I might have gotten to keep one of those alphas for myself and turned him a bit into my omega? *brooding sigh* Damn!

I'm loving this resurgence of YA novels/tales-adapted-to-movies occurring right now. Where were they decades ago, hm? That's OK. I can revert back to teenhood and enjoy. *hehe* Looking forward to "Beastly" too! Got it on my list to audio-read.

But, in my defense, going without has given me the softest, shiniest, virgin red hair my hair dressers have ever gotten their hands on (minus the 2 perms in 5th grade and the handful of crimping sessions as a kid)!*chuckles* I don't even blow dry unless the weather calls for it. Yeah, my hair dressers have always gotten grumpy and gone into dramatics too. "It has SO much potential. You should be ashamed of yourself." *sigh* Hey, I'm open to learning, OK?

OH so in other news...it seems a lot of romance/romantica publishers are now open to submissions for shorter works! YAY for us! FIREBRAIN (Thanks!) mentioned a few and I just discovered a few more.

My friend is published with Freya's Bower, among other places and I'm going to see what I can find out. Two of her books are out in print now. So excited for her!

No, not scared, lol. I have a handful of customers that just wont cooperate and use product. I haven't given up hope, but... lol.
I would say cut it to about shoulder length, angle it up so it frames your face, and layer the hell out of it.
I layers!
It will give you body and movement, without taking a shit ton of work to achieve.
Or if ya wanna be brave, get a bob. If cut correctly, your hair will fall into the shape of the cut naturally. (Unless the hair texture is awful, but I don't think yours is, lol.)

Still, option one is my fave. And ya know, there's always potential to put mousse in it and blow it dry and make it big

After I cut and donated in the fall, I had it bobbed. But, now that it falls to my shoulders I think it is long enough again to have some angles and layers. I'm glad to know they weren't steering me wrong. Thanks, hair-diva!

Oh I know, I have so much reading to get done. I think another week and I'll be getting real sleep again and then I can shed the zombie persona I am wearing right now and get busy again. (Unless I slip and fall and hurt myself again, thereby keeping me from keyboard and foot pedal). At least with a laptop I can still write in bed. Too bad that doesn't translate to coursework.

How about Raul? It rhymes with ghoul, but it otherwise has always sounded dark and sinister to me.

Raul is a variant of Raoul which is itself a French version of Ralph, sometimes pronounced "rafe", meaning 'Wolf Counsel'.

I think 'wolf counsel' could mean sneaky and aggressive.

Oh fyi about the hair talk, my hair is pretty much virgin hair too. I can't remember the last time I blowdried mine. I am a natural blonde so I love my hair color and never saw a reason to change the color. I do get it trimmed by either mom or dad to keep it healthy and the only hair product I use is hairspray because my hair likes to frizz (especially when it's humid). Last time my hair got styled was for my senior prom back in 2000 lol. I did get a perm once (if you want to call it that) when I was 10. In the end my hair looked like a puffball lol. I loved it at first because it was done by one of my grandmother's friends. Later on I didn't like it at all and I never want my hair to be short ever again. As long as it's below the shoulders, I am okay with it lol.

And I like the name Raul for a dark and mysterious person hehe. But like someone else said, it would depend on the when and where the story took place.

@ hair talk: It's not a 'professional' spray, but Garnier has an anti-frizz hair spray. I used that last summer, and it was a life saver! My hair is naturally curly, and sometimes it likes to turn into a puffball. If I don't use product I end up looking like a lion, LOL.
Hmm.. maybe that's why I think everyone needs product.

And yes, I'm a hairstylist. P.S. I'm currently using the Suave 'proffesionals' that's in a silver bottle..
the sleek and shine one, I believe is what it's called. The bottle has some orange on it I think, lol.
Anyway, that one has been nice for keeping my hair soft and tames down the fuzzers a little.
(Sunsilk is also amazing.. but it makes my hair a little too soft, so i can't use it all the time. I like my hair big! lol.)

Hehe, thanks. If and when you do read it please comment on it okay? My editor says that he gets sucked into the story, and coming from a guy especially, I enjoy hearing that kind of thing because while my stories tend to gear towards females because of the romance factor, I always like to include some action to appeal to males.

Awww cool, well here's a question for you than. I heard somewhere that it's good to switch between shampoo and conditionor brands every now and than. Is that true? I've been using Pantiene 2 in 1 for years now and I think my hair is fine, but I've always been curious about that. If more brands did large 2 in 1's than I'd get them, but it saves me money in the long run to get the two in one as well as saves on shower time and helps with water conservation.

Good luck with the writing. I need to do some art homework today. You know one of my dreams is to combine by love of art and writing eventually like creating my own cover art for my stories, but we'll see what happens.
