My mom's birthday was last Friday, the first time I could bring myself to go visit her grave. It was hard but something I promised myself I would do. It has been six months and the pain is still not fading. Somedays I don't think it ever will.

My Mother's birthday is April 17th, and she died June 14, 1997. See? It never fades. You just learn to live with the pain of loss. My sister and I are orphans now, that is usually what I think around this time of year.
