Jus' Place

Like I said, I shouldn't be drinking. So it's all good and I like to share. *smiles*

so where in the deep south are you Fury? I am in California, near LA.

I never give out my locations, that's one of my hard limits, so I'll just say I'm in the Bible Belt where "snow" is AKA grits.

I love Cali though.

Yes, we are talking drinks Bra Man.

Or maybe it's a warm buttery nipple? I always get those confused but they are both good.

now I always pictured Texas beaches being like Huntington beach, all sand and blue water and oil derricks :)

I don't mean to interupt but I thought you should know that Texas beaches are not advertised for a reason :)

They are mostly clay. The water isn't all that blue. Generally if you imagine a beach take that image them move it down the spectrum to the very least you can imagine of a beach you'd actually feel safe being at and you'll have a picture of a Texas beach. :)

I like all those other places but I can't stand LA. The other places have a few open spaces yet. LA is all blacktop and cement. and a bazilllion people most of whom are awful drivers LOL

My goal is to head for a smaller town when I retire, a place where the trees are green and not gray :)

The sand was more like mud. That made it easier to build with. There were oil derricks on one side across the way. Not near us. TONS of ships going out all day were fun to look at. The ocean was rough. Kids and husband LOVED the body surfing. We went right after a hurricane so that made it rougher I'm sure.

The bluest oceans are the ones that haven't been too poluted yet.

Aruba was nice years ago when I was there. It was very blue at that time.

i like huntington the panhandle of fl has real nice beachs well they did ivan kind of fucked that one up

Panhandle is where I usually go. We went there this year. I got some great shots but yeah, about half or more of the beach is gone now.

I have to get going folks. It's nearly 3 am and I've been sick lately.

Sweet sticky dreams to you both!

The ocean off the Big Island in Hawaii is still pretty good. Maui's isn't too bad. but Oahu's is no good any more.

Never been to Hawaii but I'd so like to go particularly now that I've met people from Maui at Lit.

*waves on way out the door*
